Consol presently operates two Batac jigs: the Shoemaker jig which has been operating for 3-½ years and the Dents Run jig which has operated for one year. To achieve the ease of operation just described and to operate as efficiently as it does, the Batac jig has some very sophisticated controls.
ادامه مطلبThe focus of present research is to see the efec-tiveness of Pilot scale Batac jig for beneficiation of coarse (− 13 + 1 mm) low volatile coking coal from Jharia through a series experimentation wherein appropriate diverse pro-cess parameters were exploited for definitive study.
ادامه مطلبThe Batac jig can treat coarse as well as fine sizes of coal. In other words, it can handle any of the sizes now being washed in the various types of Baum jigs installed in this country. The standard Baum jig uses either plunger-type air valves or rotary valves.
ادامه مطلبbaTac Jigs of width size 5.0 m and also in ore and slag applications, where high energy input is required for the jigging process. disk valves are actuated by compressed air.
ادامه مطلبThe "Batac" jig is a 6 cell 2 compartment machine with the last cell in each compartment equipped with a feldspar bed to increase the cleaning efficiency of the finer particles. The jig rejects from both the primary and secondary refuse elevators are dewatered in vibrating centrifuges.
ادامه مطلبTable of ContentsDescription of the Batac JigPerformance of the Batac Jig The cleaning of coal by the use of jigs is one of the oldest methods of separating coal from its impurities. Although in many situations jigs have been replaced by other methods, by far the largest percentage of coal today is still being cleaned […]

ادامه مطلبThe Batac jig is a newly-designed Baum-type jig for coal washing. Multiple air changes directly under the bed permit uniform distribution of air pulsations, giving greater capacity and more accurate separation than standard Baum jigs.
ادامه مطلبSalient features of BATAC® Jig include: • A centre air chamber for each compartment for stable operation and uniform stroke distribution. • Permanent and adjustable air pockets guarantying fast and hassle free startup. • PLC based jig controllers.
